Summer Fruit Bath Photoshoot
Having a daughter who loves the camera means I get to play around with so many fun and creative ideas!
I was watching TikTok one day and I came across a video of a woman doing a creative photoshoot in a pink blow up pool with cut up fruit and I thought it would be such a fun idea to make a kid friendly version for my daughter!
I searched Amazon to find the perfect bathing suit and of course had to get those adorable heart sunglasses!
I was struggling to decide what to do with her hair and bubble braids just popped in my head! I bought some fruit that would match the rainbow pool I bought from Target and then we set out to the backyard for some fun!
I was originally feeling uninspired using my backyard because its not very pretty so I decided to use my 85mm to get great compression shots to hide the focus from the background and onto Ella.
When taking photos of my daughter I try to make it really fun so she doesn’t lose interest. In the beginning I tell her a few poses and then after I tell her to do whatever she wants, throwing in suggestions along the way! This was a 10 minute session and boy did we have so much fun and giggled the entire time!
Take a look for yourself to see how much fun we had together and I hope this inspires you to get creative and have some fun with photography!
I hoped you loved this series as much as I have! I will be posting a editing tutorial soon so keep an eye out!
